UNICEF - Post

So we had post this morning... we've kept this quiet for some time now but UNICEF's gone live and given us the go ahead to present our work we did for them. What a pleasure to work for such an amazing organisation - including every member of staff we had the pleasure of dealing with.

We shall have the work up on our site and blog some more pics when we get a chance.

K&i + Quirky.Me

Brilliant Ingrid and owner of lovely Quirky.Me contacted us to design a set of placemats, trays and an art piece for this years Design Indaba. Working alongside Ingrid, we came up with a set of birds, eggs, oranges, clouds, fish, flowers and a potjie pot filled with local tasty words. We also designed the flyer.

Medicine and the Politics of Knowledge

A couple of months back we were asked to create the cover of a book called "Medicine and the Politics of Knowledge" for HSRC Press. This is how it came out.

We like old stuff...

As we start renovating our new place we're finding all these interesting things...  Like this one, what looks like a part of an old blind, in solid brass, Made in W Germany, a piece of history right here.

The Joinery

We were approached by The Joinery, an up and coming fashion label designing super cool locally produced organic hemp clothing.

They asked us if we would be interested in putting together their brochure and to create a sticker for their packaging at Design Indaba. They were proudly served as Emerging Creatives at this years Design Indaba, and we know exactly how exciting and overwhelming it can be! So we were super happy to lend our support and create a folded mini A6 brochure alongside a black and white sticker.

Watch out for The Joinery, they won't be emerging for long!

Friday Flowers

You can never have too many Proteas...

Because there are multiple dimensions...

Visi, one of our favourite SA magazines did a short interview on us for their DIY issue, lots of high-fives in the office when that came about!

And a couple of pages prior to our page, is an interview with local Wawa Wooden Surfboards - we're the lot behind their brand!

Muizenberg back in the day...

Found these amazing pictures of Muizenberg back in the day, such classics!
Always interesting looking at old photographs and seeing the people, the styles, and the architecture. See more on our Pinterest board.

Graphis Magazines

We found this little gold mine at Rattlesnake bookshop here in Muizenberg... A selection of Graphis magazines from the 1940's - 50's, two beautiful boxes with these amazing magazines. They just simply had to come home with us.
